Im on Sabbatical this Fall quarter, which starts the end of September.   I moved to Tucson early to get a head start on several things and some rest.   Good Times.

One of my graduate students successfully defended his thesis.   He had some great data.

Several of my undergraduates presented posters of their research as part of their graduation requirements.   Im so proud of them.  They worked hard.

I was asked to speak more about my experiences doing research that is controversial.   It was a different kind of talk that I am used to and a different audience.   The talk went great.

Students and I went back to Dos Palmas to sample at new water wells.   One well of which was not convenient to get to and required hiking across a football field stretch of mud and cactus.
